Ingredients
Steak Bites Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes (can substitute with Tenderloin, Ribeye, or New York Strip)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tbsp Fresh rosemary chopped
- 1 tbsp Fresh thyme chopped
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Butter optional, for pan-searing
Instructions
- Cut the steak into uniform 1-inch cubes.
- Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine the steak bites with olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure the steak is evenly coated.
- For enhanced flavor, let the steak bites marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours (optional).
- Pan-Seared Steak Bites: Heat a large cast-iron skillet over high heat. Add the steak bites to the hot pan in a single layer, without overcrowding. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until nicely browned and cooked to your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, add butter to the pan (optional). Let it melt and baste the steak bites with the melted butter. Remove from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Grilled Steak Bites: Preheat your grill to high heat. Thread the steak bites onto skewers. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, until nicely charred and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Oven-Baked Steak Bites: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the steak bites on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 8-12 minutes, depending on your desired level of doneness. Remove from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
