- Large Bowl
Ingredients
Cheesecake Fondue Ingredients
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
- 14 ounces Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 0.5 cup Sour Cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- Optional Flavorings Chocolate, caramel sauce, fruit purees, liqueurs
Dippers
- Fresh Fruits Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, apple slices
- Cookies Graham crackers, shortbread cookies, chocolate chip cookies
- Marshmallows Regular or flavored
- Brownies and Cake Cubes of brownies, pound cake, angel food cake
- Pretzels Pretzel rods or mini pretzels
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix until everything is well combined and the mixture is silky smooth.
- If you're using any additional flavorings, such as chocolate sauce or fruit puree, now is the time to add them. Mix them in gently until they are evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into a fondue pot or a heat-safe bowl. If using a fondue pot, follow the manufacturer's instructions for heating. If using a bowl, you can heat it in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until it's warm and melted.
- Keep the fondue warm while serving. Arrange your dippers around the fondue pot and let everyone enjoy!
Notes
Ensure you use softened cream cheese for the smoothest fondue. Don't overheat the fondue, as this can cause it to separate. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Add a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with a tablespoon of cold water to thicken if needed.
