Instructions
 

  • Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  • Use a fork to mash the avocados to your desired consistency. Some people prefer a chunky guacamole, while others prefer a smoother texture.
  • Pour the lime juice over the mashed avocados. Add the salt.
  • Stir in the chopped cilantro.
  • Gently mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Taste the guacamole and add more lime juice or salt, if needed. Adjust any additional ingredients as per your desire.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dippers. Alternatively, store it in the refrigerator for later.

Notes

To prevent browning, place the avocado pit in the center of the guacamole. Press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole. This minimizes air exposure and slows down the browning process.
