- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups (155g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp (3g) baking soda
- 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
- 3/4 cup (130g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup (100g) Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla until glossy.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt; fold gently with a spatula until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- In a medium bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla until creamy.
- Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Oreos until evenly distributed.
- Scoop dollops of the cookie dough over the raw brownie batter.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the cookie layer is golden brown and the center is set.
