Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz (170g) each
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp ginger powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels. Rub each fillet with olive oil, sea salt, and cracked black pepper.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together honey, low-sodium soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and ginger powder until smooth.
  4. Using a pastry brush or spoon, generously coat the top and sides of each fillet with the glaze.
  5. Place fillets on the baking sheet and roast for 12-15 minutes until the glaze bubbles and is deep golden brown and the fish flakes easily.
  6. Optional: Toggle the broiler for the final 60 seconds for a darker crust, watching closely to prevent burning.
