Ingredients:

  • 1 box (18.25 oz) brownie mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, all-purpose flour, and a pinch of sea salt first to ensure there are no clumps.
  3. Add the eggs and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients. Mix on medium speed for approximately 60 seconds until the batter is glossy and smooth.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  5. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
  6. If desired, roll each dough ball in powdered sugar until heavily coated for a crinkle effect.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, removing the cookies when the edges are set and matte but the centers still look slightly soft and wet.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking pan for 5 minutes to firm up before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
