Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy whipping cream, chilled
- 2 tbsp (15g) hot chocolate mix
- 2 cups (480ml) whole milk
- 2 tbsp (15g) hot chocolate mix
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions:
- Pour the chilled heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of chocolate mix into a chilled bowl. Beat on medium-high speed using a hand mixer or electric whisk until stiff peaks form.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk, the remaining 2 tablespoons of chocolate mix, and a pinch of salt. Whisk constantly until the mixture is steaming and aromatic, ensuring it does not reach a rolling boil.
- Pour the hot chocolate base into two oversized mugs, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
- Spoon a generous mound of the whipped chocolate cloud onto the surface of each drink and swirl slightly with the back of a spoon for a marbled effect.
