Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (175g) dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa)
  • 2 tbsp (15g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (150g) low-sugar sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to allow for easy removal.
  2. Combine the dark chocolate chips, butter, and condensed milk in a microwave-safe glass bowl.
  3. Microwave on high for 30-second intervals, stirring vigorously between each burst, until the mixture is glossy and completely smooth.
  4. Sift in the cocoa powder and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt until the color is a uniform, deep mahogany.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm before cutting into squares.
