Ingredients:

  • 2 large firm bananas (approx. 225g)
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into uniform rounds approximately 1/8 inch thick.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the banana slices with melted coconut oil until each piece is lightly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
  5. Air fry for 15 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through the cooking time.
  6. Immediately remove the chips from the air fryer and toss them in a bowl with the granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  7. Transfer the chips to a wire rack and allow them to cool for 5-10 minutes to firm up and reach maximum crispness.
