Extensive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Before hitting "send" on your email, please scan our FAQ below. We update this list constantly based on the questions we receive most often.

Q: Can I substitute specific ingredients in your recipes?

A: Cooking is often a precise science, especially in baking! Substitutions can drastically change the texture, moisture content, and flavor profile. We always try to list tested, reliable substitutions in the "Chef's Notes" or "Tips" section of each recipe card. If a specific substitution isn't listed there, it means we haven't tested it in our kitchen, so we cannot guarantee the final results. Proceed with culinary caution!

Q: How can I easily print a recipe without all the photos and text?

A: We've made this incredibly easy for you! Navigate to the bottom of the post where the actual recipe card is located. In the top right corner of that card, you will see a prominent "Print Recipe" button. Clicking this will generate a clean, text-only, ad-free version that is perfectly formatted to save your printer ink.

Q: Are your recipes suitable for absolute beginners?

A: Absolutely. Our core mission is to make everyone feel confident in the kitchen. We write our step-by-step instructions specifically with beginners in mind, taking care to explain the "why" behind techniques (like why you should not crowd a pan when searing meat). We don't assume you have prior culinary training.

Q: Do you accept guest posts, sponsored links, or outside recipe submissions?

A: Currently, we do not accept unsolicited guest posts or outside recipe submissions. In order to uphold our strict "Triple-Test Guarantee," all recipes must be developed and tested exclusively by our internal team. We also do not accept payment for hidden do-follow links.

Q: Why didn't my recipe turn out looking exactly like the photograph?

A: Don't be discouraged! There are countless variables in home cooking. Oven temperatures can vary by up to 25 degrees, ambient humidity dramatically affects flour absorption, and ingredients differ wildly by brand. We highly recommend investing in a cheap oven thermometer and using a digital kitchen scale (we provide gram measurements for all baking recipes) for the highest level of accuracy.

Q: Do you provide detailed nutritional information?

A: Yes, the vast majority of our recipes include an estimated nutritional breakdown card at the bottom. However, please note these are calculated using a third-party online API tool. They can vary based on the specific brands of ingredients you use at home and how you measure them. They are estimates, not medical advice.

Q: Can I use your gorgeous photos on my own blog or social media?

A: We work incredibly hard to develop, style, and photograph our original content. You are welcome to use exactly one (1) photograph for a round-up or feature, provided you include a clear, clickable "do-follow" link back to the original recipe post on Table of Recipes. You may NOT copy and paste the ingredient list or recipe instructions. For commercial licensing, please email our media team.

Q: How do I unsubscribe from your weekly newsletter?

A: We are always sad to see you go, but we respect your inbox! There is a simple, one-click "Unsubscribe" link located at the very bottom footer of every single email we send. Click that, and our system will remove you automatically and instantly.
